Took the back engine cover off- exposing the engine for serious cleaning.

The interior is currently rather bare and neglected. Will need some working on

This rebuild is gonna take as long as it takes..
The car is in need of a complete rebuild to get it in showroom condition… the majority of the interior has been slapped together. The car in general has been fairly neglected.
So really the job over the next few weeks/months is to completely strip everything, giving the engine a rebuild, redoing the chassis, interior as well as body work. I also want to change the body color from red to metallic silver or grey (the original porsche colour)
I am in the process of stripping the engine and body. Removing the rear cover, engine block and gearbox from the chassis – this is purely to see what I have let myself in for and to do a full safety check, making sure all nuts and bolts are secure and fixing the dodgy electrics which I have spotted already.
Depending upon how bad it is will decide as to how and when I go about the build
If it’s bad – well, bodywork off and go from there
it it’s okish – well put it back together, use the car for a while and get around to the rest sometime in the future
I shall post some pictures up soon, showing the state it is in, rather than the nice pictures as seen below which makes it look uber cool
